It depends. I have had relatives put my kids in line before as well as a few friends.
However one time there was a guy who was more of just an aquaintance and he spanked my kid and well lets just say that didnt end on a good note..
I also had a "friend" rear back and try to punch my son while watching him...lol my son gave him a black eye!!

Hell yes! Those are MY kids. I watch my children well enough so that the neighbor would never have a reason to. You'd have to pry my cold dead fingers from around their neck if they ever spanked my children.

My neighbor would be in jail faced with assault charges against them and probably me as well after I beat the living sh*t out of them for touching my child.

Yes! I think that the right thing to do is for them to let them come to you and tell you what the child has done wrong. It is not for anyone else to decide what punishment is right for your child.

I never even spanked my child
so I would be irrate if anyone else touched
her...but she's 26 now...

I think i would get outraged and then i would take the neighbor and bend them over my knee and lay into them.

I don't have a child, but yes, I would absolutely be upset. Especially since my neighboors have crazy, unruly children.
