Sometimes you can get a couple of bleacher seats to see them play the Royals or someone for less than $100 on ebay or stubhub.com.
If you buy online from a third party, try to get actual tickets, not the computer printouts that you get a lot of times now. Someone could very easily print out 100 copies of the same tickets and sell them over the internet.
Other than that, wait until they play in Baltimore or Toronto, get tickets online, and drive there. You could make a vacation out of it.

There is no such thing as cheap Red Sox tickets but you can use StubHub (most reliable), Ebay, or call the Red Sox.

I so pose you would like them air conditioned also, there are no cheap tickets at Fenway,
Boston Sucks (as a place to watch a game) even the parking is more than the game tickets, save up about 4,000 and you should be able to go and have a good time.

With the Bosox in contention, I doubt there is any place to get cheap seats. I always enjoy listening to Jerry Remy on NESN.
