If he were president do you think that it would create a better image around the world. He is a well known man who is fighting for a very popular idea. I think it could be a good thing if he became president. What a better way to make his goles of enviromental wellnes succede than to be the leader of the the USA wich is the world leader in economics and the world leader in greenhouse gas emmisions.

That's just the thing, Al Gore would be a great president if the only problem we were concerned with was the environment. But as far as I know he doesn't plan to run for president nor as he made his views clear about the War in Iraq and the plethora of other issues that are of screaming importance for this upcomminng election.

I think he found his niche and claim to fame, I don't expect him to stop.

Every president changes the image of the country. If it would be better around the world.. I really don't care. It's not the president's job to make us popular, his job is to do what needs to be done to better the lives of people in this country. And that is something Al Gore wouldn't do.

His "chicken little" environmentalism would destroy what's left of our economy and have NO impact on climate change.

If you read Gore's book, "The Assault on Reason," you will find that Mr. Gore could and would create a much better image around the world than our current leader. This book demonstrates what a true Statesman Al Gore is.

Gore is much more receptive to negotiation and consensus, rather than unilateral decision-making. Gore is willing to address the climate crisis with more than a small bump in the CAFE standards for vehicles. Gore has experience, as he was already Vice President.

I believe that many Americans would be proud of their nation again, if Mr. Gore won the presidency (again).

I think Al Gore is a good person, I support his environmental efforts and message.
I don't think he would make a good President. I think you need a different personality than he has to achieve results as a president. He doesn't have the self assurance and authority one would look for in a president. He also isn't very good at extemporaneous speaking. Tho our current pres isn't either.
I like Al for doing what he is doing in getting the message out there about the environment.

At this juncture, Bozo the Clown would improve our image.
But, to answer your question, yes, I think he would vastly improve our image around the world. But that could be said of any of the candidates running.

Al Gore would definately change the USA's image, but not for the better. Gore is generally regarded throughout the world as a weakling... the President's image needs represent the might of the United States in order to keep us safe from those people who would hurt us.

I do believe that we should preserve our environment (it's a good thing to preserve our world for the future generation), but if Al Gore wants to be president, he should work on his personality.
