I love all the many Marilyn Manson covers. When Manson covers a song, the only simularity between his and the origional is the lyrics, and he doesnt even sing the lyrics the way theyre supposed to be sung, he might sing them faster or slower, deeper or higher. The music sounds definetally like Manson. Examples of what Im talking is Suicide Is Painless, the M*A*S*H* theam song and The KKK Took My Baby Away, a Ramones song.
I dont like covers that sound like the origional. The Offspring's version of Totalimmortal sounded just like AFI who wrote the song first

Jealous Guy' - Roxy Music (original by John Lennon)
'Tainted Love' - Soft Cell (original by Gloria Jones)
'A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall' - Bryan Ferry (original by Bob Dylan)
I heard all these songs before hearing the originals, and I must admit I prefer the above to the originals......! (although I do like the originals!!!)
