Muslims cannot tolerate any criticism of their religion or their prophet. What Muslims call "hate speech" is usually just outsiders pointing out the truth that Islam preaches violence against unbelievers and that Mohammed was a murderer, a thief, a rapist and a child molester.

This criticism of islam and Mohammed is based on ISLAMIC sources. However when you point that out, you are still guilty of "hate speech" and are taking things "out of context".

The truth is that Muslim societies are repressive and despise any free thought or criticism. Following Mohammed's example, critics, questioners and the unorthodox are put to death. Muslims have no history of criticism or examination of their beliefs, so when we in the west exercise our rights, they get furious ant the "affront" because they have never been forced to examine their beliefs.

In short Muslims are thin-skinned because they know their "complete way of life" cannot stand up to scrutiny.

Examine the "hate speech" below. The last two sites are run by former Muslims. By Islamic law, as apostates they should be put to death too.

You are talking about terrorists here, they don't really need a big excuse to start shooting up the place - and Rushdie is hardly the darling of the Islamic world. Plus it is remarkably easy to indoctrinate and brainwash people, especially if religion if involved.

It's not the majority of the UK who don't like Rushdie, it's Al Qaeda who have said they are going to target the UK for knighting him. Not quite sure why, as the people of the UK didn't have any say whatsoever on the matter.
