Team #1 would win, hands down, because team #1 has Koufax and he would throw a shutout. I can see the game ending with a score of 1-0 and Ryan walking in the winning run. 15 strikeouts for Koufax and 14 for Ryan. Remember, great pitching will always overcome great hitting.

Team one is clearly better than team two on paper. However, the game has changed even since the era of the prime of many of the team one players. If you want to choose teams by eras I would call the dividing line closer to 1961 when the first expansion took place. You make Walter Johnson the team one starting pitcher, Eddie Matthews the starting third baseman, and split Mays onto team one since his prime took place pre-1961 and give Aaron to team two. Move Mickey Mantle onto team one. You'd also have to put Yogi Berra behind the plate.
On team two, I think Roger Clemens and Steve Carlton would be better to give the ball to, or Koufax for that matter. Mike Piazza has to be the startting catcher over Rodriguez. I think Joe Morgan should be at second. Aaron would replace Sosa. Harmon Killebrew would be the first baseman over McGwire.

Team 1 without a doubt becasue when Barry Bonds looks at team 1 with Jackie Robinsion Ted Williams Willie Mays hank aaron and Babe Ruth all on one team and then Sandy pitching he is gonna die of a heart attack or stroke because he is gonna be so amazed on how well those guys can play on talent and start wishing he could play that well with out using steroids. but team one would still win anyway even if big head didn't die and stuck around to watch like a wannabe

#2. the game today is much more advanced than back in the day. the guys of the ages didn't look at 100 MPH fatsballs, or sliders that broke 17 inches. plus with koufax having a bunch of arm stamina i would assume he would pitch the whole game and that gives an advantage to team two yet again with being able to set up a pitcher. that is a lost art in this games day and age due to middle relief and closers.

even my pitching team is larger effectual then yours, and your pitching team is larger effectual then your offense. actual now: a 4 yet listed top listed right here are my recommendations. attempt and commerce berkman and fuentes for Teixara. keeping soriono and ramirez (hoping they have a robust 3 hundred and sixty 5 days), assist you never lose a interest in ability. ok now i think of of you may desire to attempt and commerce F. Rodriguez or Ryan and gordon or teachen. you dont % the two relievers. %. which one is larger vsluable to you, or which one the guy your paying for and advertising them to desires. in this deal, % for a participant like Michael youthful, a large delusion short grant up. this leaves you with between the greater effective effectual catchers even inspite of the reality that i dont like him), a killer 1B(in teixara), a could desire to be mind-blowing 2B (additionally could desire to no longer), a large OF (wanting particularly greater effective velocity, so does your team...), in case you get youthful a large short grant up, and a large pitching team inspite of the trades. next, finally, we've 3B. identity carry onto beltre. i wouldnt commerce him, yet i ought to commerce for yet yet another 3B via 1 in all your pitchers (you have way too many). possibly a participant like aaron harang for chone figgins (on the DL so he must be arranged to do this, in basic terms 15 day DL you decide on for spped on a similar time as he comes shrink decrease back initiate beltre till at last then). this team mandatory artwork. if those variety of trades take place and in case you dont do something stupid, if grant this new one an 8.

The game is much more athletic today, Babe Ruth would not be a problem. Also, given the players on team 2, they all probably would take roids. This giving them an extreme advantage.

#2 becuase as time as gone on in all professional sports the players have become much better. Players are more deveolped and #2 has most recent players. Also most of team #1 is dead so they wouldn't be able to field a whole team, and the team they did field would be to old to move.
