I try my best not to eat out as much as possible, but if I do, Subway is where I'm at. Second, I'd say Harvey's, because you can pretty much watch them cook the burger and then watch them garnish it right infront of you.

IN-N-OUT. No competition. I love Taco Bell, Burger King rocks, but you cannot beat In-n-Out. Great food, good prices, not slathered in grease, secret menu rocks (ask for fries, animal style) and it doesn't taste like fast food, it tastes like good food. Plus, I have friends who work there and say they are treated very well, so it seems like a responsible place to send your money in return for a delicious burger.
