There is really almost no point in trying to sell them because due to the dropped values the money you get back will not be worth the hassle or effort. The best and most gratifying way is to donate them to a charity such as Salvation Army, Red Cross, or Goodwill. You will find many children's hospital also gladly accept them. Also there are several non-profit programs such as Beanies for Baghdad that give beanies to soldiers in Iraq to pass out to the little kids, I understand the expression on the children's face when the soldiers give the beanies to them is absoulutely pricless. The soldiers love the beanies because they are lightweight and easy to pack around. Beanies are no longer worth money but they can still bring a smile to child's face.

I wish I had the answer to that. I know at auctions sometimes a lot of 12 or so only go for $5.00. I have over 400 beanies of all shapes and sizes. Mostly old and retired. I will check back to see what kind of answers you get.

Well, you could always go to local hospitals or homeless shelters and ask if any of the kids would like them. There are plenty of kids around who are unfortunate enough to not get any gifts. So I am sure that you giving them beanie babies would make their day so much happier.

You could donate it to a charity. If you do not want the beanie babies give them to some one who doesn't have anything and would be grateful for what they have.

Check around your area. I was looking and found a place here that wanted to buy them from me. I found them on line through craigslist.org

just send them down to a new generation of kids in your family, an they will decide what to do with them. but if you want money for them, take them to a store if they are still in good condition, and see how much they will take them for.

I believe the Ronald McDonald House collects them for young siblings of sick children. If you don't have one near you, perhaps you could find another children's charity.
