Boston: Contender...Loses in ALCS
Cleveland: Contender...Loses in ALDS
Anaheim: Contender...wins W.S.
Detroit: Contender...Loses in ALDS
Milwakee: Contender...Loses in NLCS
Los Angeles: ???...I think that this is the one team that has the best chance in falling out of the race.
San Diego: Contenders...Loses in W.S
Mets: Contenders...Loses in ALDS
The Strong pitching will help the Angels in a 5 game or 7 game series. W/ that defense and good offense they will be strong in the playoffs.

No one is going to catch Boston in the AL East. Not that the Sox are that good, but no one in the east wants to win.
Detroit is an even stronger team than last year. Cleveland is a solid, hot team. The WC will come from the Central.
The West is up for grabs between Angels, A's and Mariners.
The Mets are capsizing and the Braves are hanging right in there. I see the Braves strong in the 2nd half, but look out for the Phils to play spoiler.
Brewers! Nobody is catching them. They are so deep and have hungry young talent. When Carp and Mulder and Molina are healthy the Cards will bury the Cubs for 2nd.
The hottest division is the west. The Padres should dominate but the WC is in the west, either Dodgers or D'Backs.

boston has a good team but they should trade ramirez cause he is not doing well.
Detroit is solid with depth at pitching. if they keep it up and ordenez keeps hitting they might do good in the playoffs.
Cleveland has a bunch of solid players but lacks pitchers depth and experience.
Anaheim has a star in Vlad Guerrero and ok pitching and an above average team.
San Diego has potential with thier team because of Jake Peavy, Chris Young, and the Giles Brothers. Could be a threat if they continue success.
Milwakee has Prince Fielder, a big reason of thier success. They lack pitching a little and would prob. lose in the playoffs.
LA has a great pitcher in Brad Penny and might make a run in the playoffs.
Ny has a unbelievable team. They prob. have the most potentail if they all play at their best. Gr8 team with all stars like jose reyes and carlos beltran.
Ws winner- NY Mets if they play well.
2nd- Detroit
3rd- Boston
4th- Cleveland
5th- San Diego
6th- Anaheim
7th-LA
8th- Milwakee

1.Detroit is the most dominating because of pitching and extremely powerful offense.
2.Anaheim has great pitching and defense, offense is questionable with only Vlad.
3.Milwaukee is turning into the Detroit of last year.
4.Cleveland has is all around good.
5. Boston has some holes on offense, but pitching is outstanding.
6. San Diego (2 words) simply pitching.
7. New York is a scary team, extremely fast with very good pitching
no real order.
pretender = Brewers
Detroit wins world series against the Mets

I like all these teams except I hate the Tigers with a passion.
The Indians will win it all though, nobody in the NL can stop them and they can and will cruise through the AL in the playoffs. Thier pitching staff and offense is just too good. I would still say the Tigers are the best team, but they cant seem to do good against legitimate division opponents, and thats exactly what the Tribe is. When Hafner and Sizemore actually come to play, I would be suprised to see the Indians actually lose.

So much of this depends on injuries and what kinds of moves are made as the trade deadline nears. What if Seattle or Atlanta make a big trade and jump into it?
Of the teams up there, I don't like Cleveland because they haven't proven themselves to be strong in August and September. I don't like Milwaukee for the same reason, but that division is so weak that they could basically back into the playoffs unless the Cubs make a big move. I don't like Los Angeles because they've been unable to hit, but Grady Little has to be one of the more underrated managers in baseball right now, so they can hang on.
I like Detroit over San Diego in the World Series, but don't be surprised of Atlanta or Seattle make a big push in their respective divisions.
