Ok could it be possible that magic energy once flowed across the world like great long rivers of invisible energy, the ancient chinese refered to them as dragon roads, so my theory is this this, magic energy comes and goes like the ice ages many times in the past the energy was at higher points then they are now, so all these creatures of magic and myth could just have left this world for another world where the energy was higher, there have been detailed descriptions of these creatures through out history and even area's that have remained isolated from the rest of the world, places were cultural contamination never even took place, and still these places have had legends of mythical creatures like dragons and fairys, so could it be possible that all the mythical creatures just packed up and left for greener pastures with more magic energy?

It was my understanding that most myth's and legends had some actual basis in reality, so how can you explain cultures with simular or identical myth's and legends when at the time these myth's were formed there was no cross cultural contamination between the two peoples?

A short and simple answer:
The Chinese were the first to find and describe the bone structure and size of creatures with great fangs and horns. They called the creatures the Chinese equivalent of dragons and devised pictures of what they would look like when they lived. Later, Europeans called them dinosaurs and made their own devised pictures, stating dragons are only myths.

OK most kids can tell you that they see fairy's and things my god child still See's them all the time...
i think that there are some that have gone from this would and i think that they are gone as they where hunted out but they do need to come back when they think we will be safe to handle them being back with out killing them.
look at the movies and T.V. they are all putting out the image of the dragon being something that well eat you in one bit while they might be able to do just that would they... i would think for the most part that they have a better eating habits then us..
but i think that there is plenty in the mythical story's also saying how the human "Hero" kill the creature and got the Key to the city. with them being magical then they are able to change shape when they are dead this would be to stop confirmation of there being hear and so that they do not end up in the science table for eternity and can get to go the way things are meant to go

It may be that some mythical creatures did exist, but so far back in time that they only live as legend now. Some may have been on a different plane to the human one, like ghosts are, and may have appeared in visions to people. I don't discount these accounts.

There are more mystical creatures then you can shake a stick at.. they have not gone anywhere, It just that only a few people know how to invoke them... And when a person does that. That person my not have the power or knowledge on how to send it back... Like the Golem many can bring one alive but not many are able to send it back and Golem can kill a lot not so guilty people before they can get rid of it.............

It sounds like a good theory. I think that these creatures dwindled but I don't think they went to another world, more likely a different vibration of energy making them a bit harder for us to find.
As for Dragon Roads they still exist we now call them lay or leah or leigh lines.

Nope, sorry. They are "myths" and while it is wonderful to contemplate alternative realities, the real world is pretty amazing too. But that "magic river" stuff is just pretend.

It makes sense about the the energy getting lower. Maybe not a different world... just harder to find and see.
Or maybe they went to another world where the energy was better for them...I guess we'll never know.

You never know... I'm sure they're just shy and hiding... We're kind of destroying our planet and they happen to live here too... I'm sure they're just disappointed with humans and want to remain hidden... Look at what we're doing to our planet and animals!

It's said that as we get older we lose our innocence and ability to believe in things that we can't see that's why children are more apt to see things we can't, they're more open to the concept and less jaded. Adults always need proof, or just don't believe. Read your answers and see for yourself, believe me now?
