It really is me. Im 5'4'' and im actully a very nice person. I want to be a model to get attention so I can let people know about the conditions people are living in back in Mexico. I lived there for 13 years of my life and it was horrible! We didnt have hot water and most of the time the electricity was out. I love my country, but it was very hard. Most of the kids didnt go to school because they had to help at home. My mom knew I needed a good education so I went to school. I learned english when I was seven and moved to California when I was 13. I want to be miss america!

I didnt mean for people to think im just "fishing for compliments". I have low confidence. People are always telling me im a "butter-face" And all my life my sisters have laways been better at everything than me. Of course I love to hear im pretty, all girls do. But I just dontk now if I have what it takes to be a model. I hate make-up and I do not want to do run-way! Id love to do PETA or something for the hummane society! ((Im a horribible speller =[ )) Id love to go to mexico again and play w/ the kids there and get my pictures taken with them to let people know they need a little help and stuff like that.

That really is me. And I am not asian! That picture is from the beach like 2 weeks ago. Me and my sister were messin around doin "model pics". And I would NEVER loose weight to be a model!

Lovely girl could be a swimsuit model, car shows etc
Probably not for fashion runway though.
Edit; I see you have added a few details
A little advice never defend yourself in the face of criticism people will mistake that for weakness. The modeling business is a cutthroat and somewhat mean business.
You really do have have a chance to make some money in the business but you will have to deal with some negative feedback sometimes.
Your back story about your childhood is good that adds human interest it can be an asset. Just be subtle in telling it.

If you want to, then go for it, don't let anything stop you. Just prepare yourself for rejection. Modeling is an extremely tough industry to get into. And there's usually height requirements, weight requirements, etc. Just make sure you're prepared to deal with all that. Also, make sure you have a job to fall back on, just in case you change your mind, or decide modeling isn't right for you. Good luck.

I don't care what other people think, YOU ARE GORGEOUS!!!!! go into modeling, you are extremely pretty. Don't lose any weight, I think that you have ideal weight. Also, keep in mind you are going to have to go through many things. I say you research modeling agencies in your area, and then send them a few pictures. Don't hire a photographer, just get your sister. If you live in or near LA, NY, or Washington DC, skip the town agency and go to the agencies there. Remember, about 10% of the girls actually become models. If they turn you down, go to a few other agencies. If they hire you, then you and your parents are going to have to sign many things about child labor and things. Also, you are going to be doing so many things, think of this as your career. You have to be devoted because it's hard to turn back! But, always STAY IN SCHOOL, GO TO COLLEGE!!!!

Yeah you're pretty, but don't go into modeling. Like everyone does that and it's REALLY annoying. Everyone always wants to be a singer, a model, a teacher, etc.
Break the mold.

I believe you are really pretty. I think you should try modeling but macke it your life. Just make sure you focus on your college and life. Its not worth passing something up that will always be there for you.
