I am not a HATER of any of the Americans 3 parties, DEM'S, REPUB'S, LIBAT'S.. I am one very dangerous ol' codger !!! I think for myself, and DO NOT BELIEVE ANY POLITICIAN, NEWS MEDIA, or ADVERTISEMENT !!! Poor JEB BUSH, he is the best in that family, but with the war, the scatology put out by the news media, the democrates, the republicans, natural occuring events, and the disasters caused by the weather, while G.W. has been in the white house( yes, just listen to the whole lot, G.W. is the route cause of every thing bad that has ever came along, from the time of the great flood and Noah's Ark, until now) !!!!!!!! Poor Jeb doesn't have a snow ball's chanch in he** of ever making the white house his home !!!
With Alqida Nancy ( Pelosi) and Talaban Harry (Reed), having clandestine groups working HARD to cause a delimma (and lock up)at the Democratic National Convention, so they, the two of them, can come to the rescue and become the Dem's candidates !!! ( Does this sound like an old 1940's B rated western movie, where the calvary comes to the rescue, at the last crucial moment??) I am not overwhelmed by any of the Republican " hopefuls" !!! Fred Thompson would be the least of all the evil choices at least at this time, but that is how G, W. won over Kerry!!!!
Maybe I should have a national news conference and announce that " I AM NOT RUNNING FOR THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES" !!!!! Wha ya'll thenk 'bout thes"??

I think the election will be determined by states such as OH, MO, Fl, PA, IL, NM, WA and VA. It's clear that most southern state will not vote for a candidate because of there gender or race, however those state will not determine who the next president will be. The swing states are always crucial in deciding elections.
I would be careful to state ahead of time that something is a clear win when the GOP party is not sold on any one candidate. The GOP also has the war in Iraq hanging over there heads and many independent voters see 2008 as a time for change.
I hope people will not vote based on party, but based on the needs of this great union. Its clear that we are faced with extraordinary international conflicts that will require the most intelligent and diplomatic leader. We can not change the world by ourselves. We need to seek the cooperation of other nation in dealing with the worlds issues. We need to elect someone who can transcend stereotypes and do what is necessary to secure a better future for each of us.

Generally speaking, the political climate would not seem to be favorable to the Republicans. They have not raised as much money as the Democrats thus far in this election cycle, and their candidates seem to be generating more enthusiasm out on the campaign trail. Republicans seem to be upset with the president, particularly given his stand on immigration which appear to many to favor amnesty.
However, the Republicans stand a good chance if they do a number of things. For one thing, they need to adopt a positive agenda about what they want to do. If they would emphasize limiting government, cutting spending and lowering taxes. That would be a good step forward. They should encourage tax policy that would allow Americans to keep more of what they want. They should emphasize a vigorous war on terror that goes beyond just fighting in Iraq. Conservative Republicans should emphasize appointing justices to the Supreme Court who will interpret the Constitution, instead of trying to legislate liberal law from the bench. If conservatives also emphasize controlling the borders and oppose ILLEGAL immigration, then they stand a very good chance of winning.
I think the south will vote for a woman--a conservative woman such as Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison from Texas who would be a great Vice-Presidential running mate for either Mitt Romney or Fred Thompson. It won't be easy, but if Republicans stay true to their core principles and look to the future with optimism, they stand a reasonably good chance of beating a thus far largely negative message from the Democrats.

i've got confidence that maximum mainstream Democrats would be nice. they could or will possibly not purely like the effect of the election, yet they are going to manage it the two way. i'm not so effective approximately some liberals although. I do have confidence that maximum severe liberals have long gone over the sting previous the factor of no return. they gained't be happy with out an entire replace in society the place their suggestions are the only ones seen to be of relevance. One the place purely their mandates are handed and all dissenting voices are silenced by making use of in spite of skill needed. through fact that's by no skill going to happen, they're by no skill going to undertake a greater effective outlook. I mean purely look into how a lot of them threatened to bypass away the rustic after the final election, thereby proving democracy skill not something to them if issues do not bypass their way. this occasion has been development for an prolonged time and all and sundry who has been paying interest can rather see how they have moved from the effective idealists of the 60's to the offended malcontents of right this moment. it rather is unhappy rather through fact I do have confidence that the two aspects of equation are needed for stability, however the spewing of hatred by making use of the unconventional left has grow to be thoroughly insupportable in recent times.

Hillary and Obama will fizzle out after they lose the primaries in Iowa and new hampshire. The media just loves to talk about them, but they have slim chance of winning the primary. John Edwards will win the democratic nomination and probably the whole thing. I feel sorry for the person that asked this question, you need to examine your beliefs.
