Does it hurt your feelings when someone doesn't like you, or do you care?

I like to think I am likeable, I make people laugh, always have my son's friends over, and the neighborhood kids. Always invite family and friends over, but there are a couple people who just don't get me I guess. Of course it hurts, because I am a very polite, caring individual. But I feel like it is their loss.

If someone doesn't like me, I wonder why. It bothers me so much, because I try to be kind to everyone. I have a crazy sense of humor, but once you get past that, I'm really a likeable person.

I don't think I'm very likeable initially. It takes a while for me to warm up to someone new. I just don't trust anyone.
If I like someone and they don't like me, sure I probably don't like it. If it's someone I haven't formed an opinion about it, I probably don't care too much.

I don't care who likes me. I like myself that all that counts.
Perfect example, I am 37 and I work with a bunch of men and 2 OLD ladies, and they hate me. I come in to work every day and I am polite and helpful and get a lot of satisfaction that they can not stand it that it truly does not bother me that they are hateful.

my feelings are hurt if someone doesnt like me, especially if i like them more than they like me. im a likeable person, i think. =-)

Sometimes I get upset when I don't understand why someone doesn't like me. I guess it bothers me even if I do know and I don't agree with them. I don't like it when people don't like me for no good reason, like without getting to know me. But I do find that I am generally likable, mostly because I like most people. I think everyone has their good points, once you sit down and get to know them, and they are authentic with you.

i've always been told i'm very likeable. yes, it would hurt my feelings if someone didn't like me. but, i wouldn't dwell on it either.

I try to be nice to everyone. I like being liked, but I don't go out of my way for it. If someone doesn't like me, I feel sad if I like them, but I don't really care if I don't like them. It's normal not to be liked by everyone.

I'm a likable person and at this time I don't care at all who doesn't like me.
