(4x - 3)(5x^2 + 3x - 2)
= (4x - 3)(5x^2 + 5x - 2x - 2)
= (4x - 3)[5x(x + 1) - 2(x + 1)]
= (4x - 3)(x + 1)(5x - 2)

This is called factorization.

Find your factor for the first and last term for the trinomial.
1, 5 and 1, 2
Now find a combination that will give you +3:
5*1 - 2*1 = 3

(4x - 3)(5x - 2)(x + 1)

Consider (5x² + 3x - 2)
Factors of 5x² are 5x and x:-
(5x----).(x-----)
Now require factors of 2 and these can only be 2 and 1 or 1 and 2 (with appropriate signs).
Trial and error gives - 2 and + 1:-
- 2x + 5x = 3x

(4x - 3) (5x - 2) (x + 1) are required factors.
