contraceptive injection and period pain?

ive had the depo injection BUT i still get period pains and m spotting....why?

That happens to some women.

In the four years of hell that I was in while on depo, I had period pains two weeks before my next shot as well as spotting at odd times.

I finally got off of it and am much happier on Kariva (pill).

i have been getting ths shot for a year and a half. it took months before my period completly went away. every once in a while i will have spotting. when you go in for your next shot tell the nurse
