A dissapointment for sure, like when I found out there was no Santa Claus. I thought "What's up with this?" Bye, bye childhood idioms. My parents felt it was time I grew up. (6 yrs old)

You are NEVER too old for the Tooth Fairy, Santa, the Easter bunny, etc..... When I was a kid, many years ago (I am 47 now) I got a quarter from the tooth fairy (I think by the time I stopped loosing teeth I got 4 quarters...lol), I still make baskets for my much older kids........16 and 19, and enjoy it immensely.......I even put a tag on the basket, from the Easter bunny.......... for Christmas, some of the presents are "still" from Santa!........... come on....... these wonderful icons should always live in the hearts of children, young and old alike!
P.S. ..........Fairy's Do Exist......And So Does The Wonderful Magic Surrounding All Of These Other Childhood Icons, They Are Spirit Guides And Helpers From Far Away Lands And From Long Ago Times.

There was a time in history when these entities existed very close to human beings; they have left their spirit marks in the hearts of parents who have now taken over their cause.

I used to get 10 cents. A lot of years ago.
My granddaughter is sure the tooth fairy is real because she'd held onto the envelope with her tooth in it as she went to sleep. When she woke up, the tooth was gone and a dollar was in the envelope.

My nephew lost a tooth and didn't tell anyone. He put the tooth under his pillow, and went to my brother in tears the next day. "Why didn't the tooth fairy come?" My brother, always a quick thinker, said "Because yesterday was a holiday. Fairies don't work on the 9th of September. Put the tooth under your pillow tonight, and she will come."

When children are born they are full of natural Magick. As they grow and are taught by some that Magick isn't real, the Magick is slowly absorbed by their baby teeth. When a child begins to lose their baby teeth, the Tooth Fairy always comes to collect them and leave a small present. The teeth are brought into the fairies' circle and danced into releasing the Magick into the world. This is how Magick has lasted and will last as long as there are children.

My tooth fairy must have been loaded. Either that or she felt sorry for me because she left me five bucks a tooth! My familiy doesnt have money like that either. I think they just felt bad because I cried so much when I lost a tooth.

I'm an only child so I've been spoiled my entire life. I have always gotton upwards of $5-10 dollars when I was losing teeth. I played dumb about things like that just to get more out of them I think. And it wasn't until I was like 8 my cousins and I were doing an easter egg hunt in my backyard and my mother told me where the "easter bunny" hid the egg that had $20 in it. I think thats when I realized that my mom realized that I knew it all.
