If you are in America, I don't recommend Killian, Ciara, Reardan, Siobhan or Moira.

Killiam will get picked on by other kids and possibly nicknamed "Killer" or taunted "Kill Killiam" or some other ridiculous joke about serial killers or murder.

Reardan will be the "rear end" of jokes on the play ground.

Ciara will be mispronounced all the time. (People will say it "See-AR-ah", incorrectly---the correct pronunciation is "KEER-ah") Same with Ciaran (he'll be called "See-AR-an, not "KEER-an")

Moira and Siobhan will probably be mispronounced too.

I'm not trying to put down anything you like, I'm just giving you something to consider. I promise I've seen many children upset b/c either the other kids made fun of how their name sounds or because their teachers and friends can't say their name right. My friend's kid has a class mate named ShiThe'ad (pronounced SHi THEED). You can imagine the laughs and taunting he's been through having an unusual name. Even common names can get taunting too. My friend Amanda grew up being teased by the boys screaming, "She's not a girl! She's 'A MAN...DUH!"

I know a guy named Kier (Kee-AIR) who struggled through school being called KEER, KYer and all sorts of other things.

I don't see a problem with Colin, Liam, Brendan or Adair.

Instead of Killian, how about Kerrigan. You could also call her Kerry, which is also Irish. Good Luck.

Um...just a guess here: Irish baby?

Aisling is my fave for a gal, followed by Siobhan.

For a boy, I like Colin.

The meaning is lovely but it sounds like the name of a beer.
