The placenta is not COMPLETELY attached to teh mother until 6 weeks(4 weeks post conception) Stop as soon as you find out but if you do before thatthings should be OK. Most of us have drank before we found out. With my first I was on a prescription of haldol of all things, with both my second and my third I had had a few drinks.

It's ok in the first couple months if you drank alcohol before you knew that you were pregnant. Medication can be different, It really depends on the meds. You should mention it to your doctor. Don't get worried, lots of meds are safe early on, but there are a few that can be dangerous, mostly prescription meds. Just mention it to your doc.

almost every woman will do something"wrong" before she realizes she is pregnant. Could something happen? Sure. Did something happen? Not likely. Your body is set up to defend a developing fetus. But the sooner you stop unhelathy beahvior the better. Exopsure to a toxin once or twice will probably not have any lasting effects, but repeated abuses will. Good luck

My friend had her wedding a week before she found out she was pregnant and she had so many drinks and did so many shots, nine months later she had a perfect baby boy. It happens all the time, I wouldn't worry to much. But if you are really worried than ask your ob/gyn, they will ease your concerns.
Congratulations and good luck!

I drank a bottle of wine. . .not a usual event for myself. . .the night before I found out I was pregnant & my daughter is fine. Just make sure one you confirm pregnancy that you live a healthy lifestyle.
What are women supposed to do, spend their reproduction years living in a way of "what if I become pregnant?"
