Does it have a high crime rate? Does it have a high cost of living? How is traffic? Anyone that lives in Denver please help. I am 27 and should be going to the University of Colorado Health Science Center.

I'm 27 too, and I live here! Denver's a lovely place to live. According to polls and the census and things like that, we are supposedly one of the friendliest, happiest, most health-conscious states, and our capital city is no exception. What is cool about Denver is you get that nice big-city feeling but it's not overwhelming like it can be in New York sometimes. Also, if you're into any outdoor recreation-type things like hiking, biking, camping, rafting, etc. the mountains are just an hour or two away from the city! Easy to take a day trip into the mountains and be back in the city by cocktail hour, LOL.
The traffic sort of sucks around rush hour, of course, but it's nowhere near as bad as New York or Los Angeles. We recently expanded our Light Rail train system to go all the way from Southeast Denver to Central Downtown, so if you live in the 'burbs and work in the city, you don't even have to deal with traffic. (That is especially useful info for you, what with the CU Health Sciences Center being right smack downtown and all.)
The crime rate is much less than that of other large cities, but bad things do happen here, of course. I wouldn't exactly walk around some parts of Denver by myself at night, but it's not like people are constantly getting mugged out in broad daylight here either.

If you're single, then I would go-for-it regardless of anything else. It would be a big change, an opportunity to broaden your views, enhance your wisdom, explore unknown territory for you personal, etc...!
It will definitely give you something to remember and talk about later in life.
