I do feel sorry for her. All of the money in the world is not going to help them have an intelligent conversation at night in bed before going to sleep. It must be terrible.

You answered your own question.
The 'western' world has been in the past a place for just that - the husband is the 'breadwinner' and the wife stays at home(homemaker - 'stay at home mom'). President, or not, W. has himself a real Texas gal !!
Regardless of 43's cacophony of missteps, misdeeds, and outright stupidity, he sure had good taste in marrying Laura.
I'm 62 yrs old - she's HOT !!

I don't feel terrible for her, and I doubt she feels terrible either.
She's married to a President of the United States, which is more than you'll ever be able to say.

She married a man who was elected governor twice. Her husband was elected President twice. I would say she did all right in her choice.

No but I feel sorry for Hillary and Bill Clinton.
Bill would rather chase a fat intern.
Hillary has to stand Bill for all these years.
