Hi, do you think that there is a gay version of the trolls that love to hang around in here and say we are all sick, going to hell etc, just curious really

Hey Pete, a troll in the LGBT section, a real troll, coming back various times and spread over various days, is almost per definition a very repressed gay or otherwise in an internal sexual conflict.
Gay bashing is one of the only strategies which can give such a person at the same time his biological 'kick' as delivering him or herself with a temporary proof of him or herself not being gay.
As with any other addiction the effects soon disappear and he/she needs to come back.
It's an illness that only they themselves or with professional guidance can cure. Since most of them do not live a life in which professional guidance is available or talked about, there's not a lot we can do. Only hope that tolerance will spread so much that one day such closeted cases are no longer created.

Dr. Doris is really an old man, most likely a gay guy who is very unhappy. this guy has created several different accounts in the past, always coming on the LGBT forum and harrassing gays. obviously if he keeps comming back he must want something from us, right? maybe if we figure it out he'll stop being so bitter. trolls are very annoying but just remember that they are people too. they're just a little misguided. so be carefull with what you say. ignore the stupid questions that they post and answer the ones that deserve your attention.

As in, gay people trolling on the GLBT board? Or trolling elsewhere? I know for a fact that there are gay trolls, though I'm not sure if they troll on the GLBT board. I'd think it would be more fun that way, because the more well-versed you are in a subject, the more effective your trolling can be.

I've heard or at least read in kk's answers that someone gay got his high level account removed, but that he has a hidden one somewhere, and with that level 6 (the hidden one) he picks off us gays... which really makes me think he's a gay man. Because why else would someone gay get him removed? Other than he asked/answered a question and broke yahoo's rules in this section. However he blames the person who got him kicked rather than yahoo and their rules... hmm!

I've wondered if some of the more intentionally illiterate sounding ones were openly gay people messing around.
Plus some of the serious ones are obvious closet cases and a few of them have basically admitted it.

Perhaps. A sad result of the hold conservative religion has on its adherents is that many of them who are gay feel a great deal of self loathing and hatred. What kind of people would do that to those they claim they love?

I shudder at the thought of them being gay. It really bothers me to think that gay people could be capable of so much hatred.

Yea. You find them on the Religion & Spirituality boards telling people of faith that they are hyopcrits and will burn in hell.
