When my back is against the wall, that is the time I realize some of my close friends were always distant, and some people i thought were distant become close friends.
In short, I depend on my close friends to help me out. But such times help me get better clarity on who my friends really are.

My partner helps me out when I am against the wall. My life long friend also is always there for me, no matter what, just like i am for her. I wouldn't give her up for no one, no man, no nothing, she has been the most loyalist person in my life. I find that your mother normally tells you she knows you better than you know yourself, i can't believe that, because my mother has only ever given me heartbreak. So do you think this is worth 2 points? The answer to your question is. My best friend and My partner. All the best. xx

Without question, my wife of 28 years. I trust her with my life, and would gladly give mine for her. Not only does she "have my back" but when those times come when I feel down or overburdened, when the words just won't come and the blank pages seem to be mocking me I turn to her. She can hold me and hope just seems to begin slowly flooding in. Sappy? Yeah, no doubt. Still, I wish for everyone the love I have found in her.

I'm a married guy of 43 who went to uni as a mature student. Whilst there, I met a girl of 30 who is very very attractive, but there was an instant bond of friendship without any sexual overtones. I regard her as my best friend, an know I can turn to her for advice, and also she to me. We have absolute trust in each other's opinions, and would never dream of hopping into bed because we value our friendship too much. After all, we all know how sex can destroy a friendship. There. How's that! :-)

When I have to pick one person I could truly count on, it is probably my friend from when we were both three. We have been great friends for the last two decades and even though she is married, she would help me out if I needed it and I would do the same for her. We grew up together (apart for a while and then back together) and respect each other's advice and enjoy hearing what is going on in each other's lives, even when it isn't good. :-)

Thats when you find out who your true friends really are, the people you thought were your close friends sometimes become quite distant when you need them, there is only 1 true friend that has never let me down and vice versa.

I can name seven people upon whom I can rely in any situation, and they can rely on me. This is what true friends are for. Of those seven there are four that I will accept advice from and who will also accept same from me. And of the four, I am related to one. So, my support structure is a good one, built over many years. I've known my circle of friends for over thirty years.

Nobody helps me, I am all alone when it comes to most anything, I don't think that anyone could help me with the problems I have. I'm not sure I want anyone's help, the less people that know I have a problem the better!
