I think Spain is a top place, the weather is a lot better than the UK, there aren't cctv cameras watching you everywhere. you pay less tax than us, It's cheaper to live there. The transport infrastructure is massively superior to the UK's. Siesta's are very civilised. The food is healthier. The people aren't as xenophobic as the majority of British are.
Come to think of it, why the devil am I still living in England???????

The Basque Country has been my home for the last 14 yrs. I have travelled all over the rest of Spain. I`m pretty happy here. I think the Spanish lifestyle has a lot more to offer than the British. My son is Spanish.
(One "pega" Spanish people can be more rude on a daily basis than English people. )

If you are looking for a family holiday places then Madrid is the city and that hotelbye is the spot to start. Your kids may only adore Madrid because there are enough theme parks, zoos and activities to help keep them occupied for weeks. In Madrid you may also discover a number of the famous place on the planet like: Alcalá Gate, el ground de football Santiago Bernabéu, la Plaza España Square and much more. Madrid also presents areas where you will get socked with tradition, places like: Thyssen Museum or Archaeological Museum. In few phrases: Madrid is just a town that's several exciting places to show it.

Spain is probably the most popular holiday destination for British people. It is inexpensive to get here, the sun shines all day long and it is cheap to eat out.
I live here, I moved here two years ago. I am trying to integrate. I've learnt Spanish and I have Spanish neighbours. I am now a resident and I love everything about this country.

I like Spain, its mountains and cities. However, its coast, once beautiful, are being treated with greed. Spain is losing the beauty of its coast in the name of tourism.
On the other hand, Spain is a great place to eat, drink and drive around. As the Italians and Greeks, Spaniards are enjoyable people.

well 2 million English people now live on the Spanish Costas and millions more visit as tourists (it is the most popular destination for British tourists) so no matter what people may say on here, you can be sure that most English people like Spain very much!
if anything it's the lower class English expats/tourists that spoil it a bit.
