i have 2 male guppies and 2 female guppies in a 29 gallon tank and i want mollies and platys because i want to breed them

i did that exact same thing in my 10gallon tank and there were no problems at all. but life isnt the same for everyone. they were actually quite fine together until the day my daughter got a goldfish from a lfs and put it in the tank and all my fish got cotton whool/fin rot and died before i could save them
moral of story stay away from goldfish they ruin everything.
but back to your question i would say you'll be ok and just to be safe leave plenty of spots to hide

Though I've no experiences with the mollies, I've heard they are kinda fragile. Platies and guppies go great together. If you're going to breed them you won't need more than 4 of each. They're like rabbits!!

Mollies, platys and guppies are all in the tropical community family, so there shouldn't be any problems.

Yes, those are the two types of fish I have, and they get along well. They also pop out babies like crazy.
