Yahoo News. Then check news stories with timestamps from only a few minutes ago and see what the date is.

open my internet explorer, displays my yahoo homepage. it already displays today's date at the center box with featured news, entertainment, life etc.

launch yahoo or google and type today's date as the search criteria... voila` you'll have today's date
