Its just knee-jerk partisan hackery, it doesnt matter if it makes sense or not.
Its not intelligent, rational discussion. Partisan hacks dont have to make sense. Its about moving away from discussion and into yelling matches, not making sense.
People who cant "win" in normal discussion with good arguments resort to provoking others by insulting and attacking them.
And there are plenty of people on BOTH sides of the "conservative-liberal" divide who do this. No side has a monopoly on idiocy.

We're a floor wax, we're a desert topping!
Yeah, on today's talking points from the right, there's one group that claims liberals are profiting from the war... and the other group that says liberals want up to leave the war so we can lose. Sometimes, the same poster says both of these things, on various threads.
Look when you're talking about how the guys at Rendon, or Rove's office or wherever that hand out the talking points to the online operatives, they don't really bother with consistency. The important thing is: Libs traitors, wealth worshipers patriots; unless they're wealthy libs, then they're traitors anyway.
Don't worry, when the extent of the manipulation of these boards becomes a matter of public record (soon I assure you), people will be amazed at how few of these Bush can-do no-wrong people there actually are. They're a little band of paid trolls, and their writing styles are actually quite easy to trace.
Want a list of people who come on with a new identity each day, with tip offs on style that show who they are?

I know Rich (Elite) Liberals, and I know Poor (Welfare) Liberals.
Except for a very few Conservatives, the majority of the media's Owners, Executives, and Reporters >Are< Liberal.
They openly support liberal causes, candidates, and organizations.
They have stated as much, time and time again in the public record. Saying, or implying otherwise is just plain foolishness.

Wow! univee, How stereotypical can you make your comments?
"Gee!, It's the same few Paid Republican trolls on here day after day, posting anomalously!!!! Blah, Blah, Blah!"
I always sign my posts with the "T.S." that you can see on the bottom of this post.
I only have my personal account, and use it to post here. I am not a paid Representative, I hold no official office, I am just a private citizen...Like most of you out there are.
I might be but one, but there are many, many more like me out there/here.

You may not like the answer.
But those Liberals who are "Elite" and have money. Are the ones who push forward all the social programs and liberal ideaologies.
And they feed the bottom..
Which is the welfare crack head who has no job and lives off tax dollars.
You see.. Smart Liberal has a nice job, can afford to throw their money at Social Spending. Just as long as their mortal enemies the Conservatives (those who also have money) are paying the same bill.
Then you got the average every day guy who gets to take the a majority of the headaches. Cus he isnt rich, he isnt poor. And he most likely doesnt vote.
Crack Head, 10 kids, drug dealing mental case just sits at home and soaks up all the social programs and puts a burden on the rest of the world. THey dont vote.. but they will sure as hell say "i hate this political party, i support this political party"
Woohoo!

It's absolutely both!
The elites know that if they keep handing out entitlements, the people will be fat, dumb, and lazy and keep voting them in!
True conservatives require that all Americans work hard to fulfill the American dream. Essentially, you make your life....
Liberals believe in handouts and free social services. These entitlements just encourage continued laziness. Essentially, people are 'owed' the American dream.
Tell me - which model is easier? It's a whole lot easier to give up your freedoms and take a hand out than work hard for prosperity.
You can see both sides displayed in the old saying:
"Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day." - Liberal
"Teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime." - Conservative
Personally, I want the government to stop stealing from me through the tax system and let me live my life....

Of course it can't be both, like most generalizations they are based on prejudice and have no or hardly a relation with reality. It are wild allegations based on nothing.Like all liberals are gay but at the same time all liberals are responsible for all abortions.
It's called demagogy.People doing this aren't interested in debate or sharing knowledge but about getting their stereotypes confirmed a possibly stirring up others.

The welfare people reap the benefits of liberal policies. I don't think most people equate welfare people themselves as being liberal.
But you already knew that, didn't you?
