You still need real charges. this is all a game to the left and they are putting our country in danger and at risk. What little respect I have for liberals is lessened on a daily basis.

While I do not agree with 99.9% of what President Bush is doing and has done - I don't think there are sufficient grounds to impeach him - unfortunately.

Other than the illegal wiretapping - which he SHOULD have been called on - and the blatant disregard for international treaties - which last time I checked ARE LAW once they are approved by Congress - he hasn't done anything that would warrant impeachment.

Sure, he's a raving lunatic with delusion of grandeur and has done more to destroy democracy than any 10 terrorist groups... but he's done everything with either the approval of congress (declaring war on Iraq, Patriot Act, etc.) or with congress looking the other way.

The sad fact is... we've gotten ourselves backed into a corner by following a madman with aspirations of godhood and now we're trapped by our own complacency.

What we really need are votes of no-confidence whereby 75% or more of the voters could vote yearly to remove the current office and force a re-election. That would make our government much more OF the people, FOR the people and BY the people.

The are comparing them because Nixon also tried to use "executive privlege" to deny congresses requests that he turn over documents related to the water gate scandal. Bush is claiming exeuctive privlege and is refusing to allow his aides to testify before congress, even though they have information about potential illegal actions.

This is all about the firing of US federal attorneys. These attorneys are not supposed to be fired for politcal reasons, yet it seems clear that they were. Congress is trying to investigate and the Administration is blocking them.

It will probably go to court, but I don't think that he will be impeached.

If they impeach Bush it would be a miracle. He could lie to us over and over and over again and because we're stupid, he will never get out of office until his time is up, unless he makes a bill extending the amount of time one person can serve in office. THE END

Only time will tell. The question being, when will the 3 prominant Republican Senators visit the Oval Office and break the news to Dubya that its over?

Why do they compare the two? Because they HATE THEM!

lol

The typical moderate on either side with agree or disagree with with Bush.

But the far left, the liberals, they hate George W Bush with a passion. They dont care about getting anything done.. they jus keeping hating.

Until a Liberal gets elected, and nothing gets done. Again.. wow imgagine that. Lets spend 8 years just yelling. Then when the yelling stops.. they scratch their head and go "well lets go spend some money!" Until the next conservative/Republican gets elected. Repeat!

Impeach him? Probably not. To bad.

They are both Republicans, rich; seem to have no regard for what is legal and feel that they should have the support of the country no matter what they do; but then both sides of the political aisle are guilty of that.

Bush is no Nixon.
Nixon was way smarter and accomplished many good things, including ending the Vietnam war (even if he was a lying bastard in regards to the Watergate scandal).

Well, let's compare.

Both engaged in illegal warrantless wiretapping. Both refused to honor Congressional subpoenas for information.

Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Fielding worked for both.

I could go on, but those are the most obvious examples....
