So far they have (with some liberal republicans):
1) proposed limiting talk shows, freedom of speach.
2) created all anti-gun legislation, right to bear arms.
3) passed and continue to fight for the "right" to kill your unborn children, right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness
4) vote for liberal judges that are reinveting the constitution

They won't do it now. First they need to win the White House and try to increase their gains in Congress if possible. Especially in the Senate where their majority is paper thin.

However, if they can acheive both in 2008 then you better believe that George Soros and Howard Dean will be trying to direct us into their little totalitarian nightmare.

All politicians are trying to re-invent the Constutition in their own image.

Republicians are just as bad...

1) Instutiting torture - cruel and unusual punishment
2) Abolishing habeas corpus for detainies
3) Illegal wiretapping - unreasonable search and seizures

And that's just Bush.

No... there is political party that has a monopoly on spitting on the constitution. Politicians do it in the name of fear, in the name of power and sadly... even in the name of supposed liberty.

You got your wires crossed this Republicans that is baning the Constitutions. You Republicans just can't sit still unless your blaming some immoral problems that your party has committed. It's you stupid unelected President that is breaking Constitutions, it never fails when your party does a great injustice they become liberal Republicans. Hey, what about another sex scandal in your party Vitter, when that madam starts laying those names online, you better run for cover. The old limber old geysers will more than likely have their name in the pot, just trying begging please just one more time, on bended knees, please Madam try one more time. Bush and Cheney will be the first old geysers in the line of names.

The right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness does not extend already to those who are not legal citizen (a fetus is not a legal citizen)

The right to due process is now laughable due to the patriot act.

Free Speech? Free speech is already a joke and has been for years.

There is no anti gun legislation, yet gun controls. To take weapons out of the hands of those who are proven to be unstable. The right to bear arms was devised to prevent an oppressive fascist government, not so you can shoot can on your ranch.

Wrong party, guy.
"It's just a goddamned piece of paper!" - G. W. Bush, November, 2005, referring to the Constitution of the United States.

You seem to be confusing your political parties.

Democrats are the strongest proponents supporting free speech, freedom of religion (no govt-sponsored religion), and the rights of liberty and choice....

It's other parties that attempt to limit what people are allowed to do.

You're right about gun legislation, but remember that the 2nd Amendment only applies to federal regulation, not state....

So far the republicans have

1) infringed upon our right to be free from unreasonable search and seisure by allowing warrantless wiretapping.

2) The Conservative majority on the supreme court has ruled against freedom of speech.

3) Bush is refusing to comply with congress's subpoenas, violating the idea that we have 3 co-equal branches of government with checks and balances.

4) Government sanctioned violations of the geneva conventions involving torture of prisoners of war

5) US citizens being held indefinately as "enemy combatants" without charges and without access to legal representation.

I could go on. SO who is trying to ban the constitution?

But the Republican administration pushed through the Patriot Act and instituted an illegal domestic spying program. Hmm. Who's abusing the Constitution?

It is the far right end of the Republicans that are trying to "ban" the constitution.

Get your facts straight, even if a lot of Republican men are not.
