It depends on how high the chance of rain is. When a forecast calls for isolated thunderstorms, it means that the thunderstorm will be isolated in nature, and will not blanket the entire viewing area for which the forecast was made. It just means that there is a chance of a couple of storms here and there to pop up in the afternoon due to daytime surface heating. With that in the forecast I would definately go. I have made plans to go to parks on drizzly, overcast looking days because there are less in the way of crowds. The fewer people there, the shorter the lines, and the more I can ride!
Some parks will not close rides due to just light or moderate rain. In the event of heavy rain or lightning, rides will close, but will reopen once the storm has passed and the lightning is out of the area. If rides do close due to a thunderstorm, wait it out. Often times, but not always, people leave the park, leaving even shorter lines!
I would go myself, during a weekday, could mean much shorter lines/walk-on conditions for the rides.

Depends, is the park in Florida where it rains everyday during the summer? Just a couple of things to note... most smaller outdoor rides will go down for heavy rain, coasters go down if lightening is within 5-10 mile radius. You always take the chance of the t storm lasting a long time which could kill your day and parks traditionally don't offer anything if it rains the entire day. However, with that said, millions of ppl across through FL theme park gates every summer despite the daily 3pm t storms!

Nope should be the best day to go. Those with passes may stay home or go home if a storm pops up. Thus less people at the park and shorter lines.

If you dont mind getting wet- go for it. But if there is lightening- that is another story.

In the summer in Florida it rains just about everyday between 3 and 5 and it usually cools things off. It doesnt deter people from their Disney vacation!

No, It is the best time to go. Everyone else thinks the same thing. Shouldn't go because of thunderstorms. THERE ISOLATED. No long lines. And sometimes the ride line are covered.

Other than the large outside coasters, most amusement parks are set up to be able to run regardless of weather. Make sure you bring your rain gear and you should be fine!
Haven't you ever heard of playing in the rain????? :-)

Yes, just go, have a good time. If the weather turns out to be terrible, just laugh it up and chalk it to a "stupid move." Either way you'll have fun.
