Yes.
This is what I believe, right or wrong here it is. I believe God mad me Gay for a reason.
Being Gay, Straight, Trans, Bi isn't a choice.
We are all sexual beings. By extension, each of us has a sexual orientation: an enduring attraction — be it sexual, romantic, emotional or affectional — to another person. Sexual orientation, however, varies from one individual to the next and exists on a continuum that ranges from exclusive homosexuality to exclusive heterosexuality. Between these two poles, there exist various forms of bisexuality.
It's thought sexual orientation is likely the result of complex interactions of a number of factors — genetics, cognitive, environmental, and biological.
Sexual orientation is different from sexual behavior: sexual orientation refers to feelings and to self-concept. People may — or may not — express their sexual orientation in their behaviors.
In most people, yes, and their sexual orientation emerges in early adolescence. What's more, there's also considerable evidence to suggest that genetic and hormonal factors play a key role in shaping a person's sexuality.

What, son?
I was born a homosexual. Came out at 4 years old. My parents are still married, and I use to go hunting with my father. And I've never been sexual molested.
It's TRUE!

Okay...there's some funny stuff going on with this one. First there is somebody who says that homosexuality is a choice because there's no evidence to suggest you are born gay. Well...hello genius! There's no evidence to suggest that it is a choice either!! You have to rely on the information given by actual gay people because they are the ones experiencing it!
Then there is someone who says rather confidently that it is not a choice and don't let anyone tell you different...and that it is a mental illness. But then she proceeds to say that it is just her opinion. Well...if it is your opinion...then we're allowed to say something different!!
I'm gay...so I can tell you what's really going on. Telling a gay person that it is a choice is an insult. If you knew the kind of pain that many of them go through to come to terms with being gay...you wouldn't even think about saying that it is a choice. Many of them struggle with it for years. They feel lonely, depressed, many times suicidal. Does this sound like someone who is consciously CHOOSING to be gay? Why on Earth would someone choose to be hated by so many people? Why would they put themselves through all the hatred and ignorance on the planet? For me, coming out was the hardest thing I'll probably ever do. I didn't want to be gay. I prayed not to be. If it was just a simple choice...would I purposely choose to put myself through that? When some ignorant person tries to tell me that it is a choice when they have no idea...it means that my high school and college years that were spent mostly in depression were all meaningless and my life meant nothing.
A person is ABSOLUTELY born either gay or straight.

I was born Transgendered and I think people are born with their sexuality hard-wired.
Oh, yeah, my dad roughhoused with me, I went to church, was a boy scout, was on the rifle team and football team and my parents were married for fifty years.
It doesn't need to be "cured" any more than a belief in God needs to be "cured".

I don't know about anybody else but I will say when I was born I wasn't sexual at all. Hell, I drooled, couldn't use the toilet, couldn't dance, still can't dance, but it was later on in my life when puberty was creeping up on me I realized I wasn't watching all these gladiator movies because they were good cinema.
