Very nice observation!!! I hadn't noticed! That is worth a star!! LOL! And no Hermione didn't make the call of a werewolf. She only did that in the movie, because while the events that happened when they went back in time were interesting in the book... they would have made dull movie scenes. I'm also wondering if they will even attend school....but I think they will at least go back to try to find out more about the founders . So if there is importance in the DADA teacher then we will see how your theory pans out!

Hmm, I never noticed that, but you bring up very good points! Especially with Snape. I'm always looking for evidence that he's a good guy. Or at least as much of one as he can be.
I'm sure we'll hear of a DADA teacher in the 7th, but it probably won't play that big of a part. Maybe. Depends on if your patterns mean anything...
I don't think they'll find an evil DADA teacher, because that would drag all the attention back to Hogwarts, instead of on the horcruxes. I think these patterns have come full circle and maybe, for a bit of comic relief, Firenze or Trelawny could take up the DADA post instead of having to split divination?
Like I said, I don't think it'll be major, who is the DADA prof, but I think there is definitely something to your patterns! Especially in the way of Snape :) Good thinking!

I think you're right on!
Book 3 reveals Wormtail, who everyone thought was a hero, but turns out to be working for Voldemort... Book 6 has someone who we all thought was trustworthy, but killed Dumbledore... could Wormtail's and Snape's stories be similar? Were they both just biding their time for the opportune moment to reveal their true loyalties?
I think the 7th book won't even happen in Hogwarts, though, considering how much work Harry has to do in order to destroy the horcruxes. I doubt the DADA teacher will be influential to the story, but I love that you picked up on that pattern!!

Wow! Those are some nice conclusions you've drawn up there! I have actually thought of stuff like that I have never gone THAT deep. Nice Job! I really don't know what to think of Snape. I mean he killed Dumbledore. He also told the Order in the 5th book about harry at the Dep. of Mysteries.

Nope, I don't see the pattern of evil. Lockhart wasn't evil as much as he was useless. Lupin was excellent. And while fake Moody was evil, he taught them alot. It is kind of hard to pick up a pattern with what we are given.

Well, I think Snape is evil, but he has his own plans. I think he's a evil dark lord or somthing.
The 7th book will probably have somthing totaly different. But I guess we will know on July 21st.

I have discovered a similar pattern of characters being reintroduced. In the 2nd and 5th, it has house elves. There are also a couple other ones that I don't know off the top of my head.

Not really. But is Hermione a werewolf? In 3 doesn't she say that a werewolf only responds to the call of it's own kind? Did she not call it?

i have not noticed this particular pattern. thanks for pointing it out!!! there are many more patterns of which i have read about while surfing the net - try the mugglenet site, it's full of speculation on each topic imaginable - from neville's cry of 'DUBBLEDORE' to the significance of socks and the relationship between Stubby Boardmann, Regulus and Sirius Black, among other things!!!
