The first "thick" book I remember reading was a Nancy Drew book. Something about a mysery in the red barn or something like that. I think I was 8.

When I was little I read fairy-tales and about ancient mythology. Romanian Fairy-tales like: "Harap-Alb"... etc.. :P
but when I think about what I read... damn!! and what I am reading now: horror and philosophy lol... what a difference; but I guess with time we do get more into books and better ones. :)
bye.

Green Eggs and Ham (I read it to the Kindergarten class) but the plot did not intrigue me.
