Well it would tie up Congress and keep them from doing anything to help the average American, not they the newly elected congress is doing anything.........Want a pound of flesh go for it, only the American people will lose in the long run, more money spent....by the time it went through Bush would already be out of office

He has done nothing for which he could be impeached. Lying to the citizens of the US is not an impeachable act. If that were the case we would have to lock up every polotician in the country.

I'm sure if an investigation went on with the current Administration there would be sufficient evidence and reason to impeach. Right now the only that he could possibley be impeached for is War Crimes, lying in order to go to war (aka WMDs).

But seriously that would just leave Cheney with the reigns and lets be honest I don't want the penguin running the country!

I agree in theory, but it is too late to be effective and would cost way too much money, OUR tax dollars. Cheney needs to be impeached as well. I think the impeachment process should be skipped and Pres. Bush should be charged with Treason, Mass Murder, Deriliction of Duty, Providing false information to Congressional Investigation, Attempted Murder, Aiding and Abeding a felon, Harboring a Wanted Felon, Abuse of Executive Order/Office, Embezzlement, Breach of Contract, Bribery, Obstruction of Justice, Intimidating a Witness and/or Witnesses, Jurry Tampering. That's all I can think of at the moment, but it seems like it should be enough to put him on death row. I just thought of a few more. Conspiracy to Commit Treason, Murder, Jury Tampering, Witness Intimidation, Embezzlement, Bribery, Obstruction of Justice, Missappropriation of Funds, Conspiracy to committ all of the above, and whatever its called when someone interfers with the voting/election process, can't remember that one. All of these are Class A felonies, except breach of contract. Vice Pres. Cheney should also be charged with the same crimes, as well as Rumsfeld (not sure of spelling). That would be a much quicker way of putting them out of commission. Of course, I'm sure there many senators and representatives who should also be charged. And ALL of them should be charged with Abuse of Public Office for voting themselves an automatic raise every year and then hiding it under the classfication of Top Secret, if the info got out it would cause an "extreme risk to National Security" they did this to bypass the Freedom of Information Act.

It's a waste of tax payer money. I can't stand the guy, but it's stupid to talk about impeaching him.

Impeaching Bush would accomplish little but a waste of time and money. While there are plenty of reasons to do so, no doubt about that, there are too many Republicans in the Senate that would not vote against Bush. Also as long as Bush and Cheney are in office more and more scandals and corruption are unearthed giving the Democrats more fodder to throw at the Republicans next year in the election campaigns.

How about getting the politicians to work for America for a change?

All the Dems do is bash Bush. They've controlled the congress for 6 months now - have they done anything?

Get to work for the people!

Disagree but congress should force him to let people testify and turn over any records they need.

I disagree.
You need a crime first and none has been floated yet expect they don't like him.

Which is not a high crime.

I think with Congress's approval rating lower than Bush I think I work on their own survival come Nov 08.
