i haven't done it to a neighbour but i did it at my sisters birthday part when the were watching a DVD. 13 going on 30, it just needed a change of channel, you don't get many films lammer than that. it worked perfectly untill they realised what was going on and i got in big trouble. wasn't aloud to watch any tv for a week. still worth it though, would definately advice, works like a dream

Haven't ever tested the TV remote on the neighbors. I have tested the garage door opener on various houses in the neighborhood. It worked on a couple of other houses and opened their garages.

I didn't but when my neighbor first got his Satellite Dish installed my channels were constantly changing... I'd be all into a movie and all of a sudden my channel would flip to a spanish novela....I didn't understand why until i called Dish Network and they told me that it must be a new remote in the area. So i asked him if his tv was acting up...and he was like...YEAH, I TRY TO WATCH MY SOAPS (NOVELAS) AND THE CHANNEL WILL FLIP TO SOME MOVIE...LOL

Yes! One of my old neighbors was a real tool and I always turned DOWN the volume on his tv or switched it to Oprah at 4pm.

yes i have. me and my friend were talking one night and i noticed i could see their TV from my living room. She bought over the remote and we got it to work by opening both windows and leaning outside. imagine what people were thinking as they drove by. lol.

It doesn't really work unless you have the same t.v or/and t.v provider=(
BUT, there is this little device that can turn off all t.vs. It's pretty snazzy. It works on almost all of 'em!
They'll think they're going crazy!

ahahahahahahaha....
that is funny...
but the only way you could do that is if you had their remote.....or the same t.v. that had the same remote...or get a universal remote and put the code to match their t.v.!
that would be hilarious!
good idea!
