I've been playing center/power forward for most of my life as a bball player. Now that I reached my maximum height (6'3''), what position should I focus on becoming? I'm looking at small forward right now, but I just need other people's opinon.

small forward would be a good idea. seeing as you have been playing power fwd/center you will have the post skills...but how is your driblling skills and shot? If thats what you want to focus on becoming then really work on those skills. seeing as you are 6'3 you have height for the position (I'm assuming ur in high school...correct me if i'm wrong) you will do good there, but to get to the college level you should work hard at dribbling and shooting. good luck

If you can handle the ball very well, pass and shoot, then you may be able to play as a guard. There are two positions as a guard, they are Point And Shooting Guard. Depending on the things you do the best, you may be comparable to some of these players:

1. Baron Davis
2. Chauncey Billups
3. Eric Snow
4. Steve Francis
5.Hersey Hawkins(exactly your build)

So there maybe your answer
write bcak if its a good answer.

Depends, 6'3 is pretty good ht for your average guy. If we're talking pick up games and friendly leagues than I'd say go for power foreward. If you're playing some serious ball or something though (ultra competitive leagues, ball at a big h.s., etc) and really wanna get serious about it look to small foreward if you have some down low skill, or shooting guard if you you're solid ball handler.

I think that should try being a point gaurd or a shooting gaurd like depending how serious you take basketball. I mean look at Dwayne Wade and Steve Nash, they play guards and there both 6'4. You should try to play guard since you are 6'3 and way 200+lbs you could be dominant there especially if your strong.
P.S. Holla back and tell me how it goes at that position man.

sorry not to be rude but if your really serious you should know, 6-3 is a guard in any league outside of some small college the only ? would be if you have hella wingspan like Chuck Barkley was really only 6-5 at PF

I think you would be good playing SF, because with 6"3' height, you would be small to play PF, and, depending on, your skills, you should be a good SF

either a point guard or a shooting guard, ben gordon is a shooting guard and he is exactly 6'3" 200lbs though he is one of the smallest, if there are shorter people in your league and not too many guys over 6'6" then focus on becoming a small foward
