You are, of course, referring to your mother and sister.

I think Mr. Knowitall was the only one who had a remotely realistic or intelligent answer.

One: Boys being more brainy than girls is a very stereotypical statement, I'd say from around the 1950's...

Two: Boys and girls have two completely different ways of thinking, so comparing them is ridiculous.

Three: I like to think that I'm not the only person who understands intelligence as more then grades, or degrees.

Four: as Mr. Knowitall stated, in many cultures girls aren't expected to understand things such as mathematics and sciences, and are therefore not given the chance to learn them at all, that I believe is vastly unfair and even stupid, as in today's world we ought to understand that women are just as intelligent as men.

Five: There are many great and brilliant women throughout history, not just recently, but through all time the same with men.

Madame Curie, Benjamin Franklin, Queen Elizabeth I, Albert Einstein....

Why would you ask a question about girls being less (BRIANY) when you can't even spelled the word BRAINY? Look many girls are smarter than boys and the only problem is that most boys are more street smart than girls. But don't start something when you misspelled the main word.

I would like to point out that you have spelt brainy incorrectly, unless you were actually trying to ask why girls are less briany than boys in which case I can only assume that you are asking why girls are less like Brian than boys which doesn't make a great deal of sense.

It seems our brainy friend just wants attention.
There is no real to prove girls are less "brainy" the two genders thinks very differently. Our perspectives in life are very different from eachother. To say we aren't as intelligent as the male gender only comes the stupid stereotypes. Not all women are clueless shopping fanatics.

Anyway I thought i'd put my two cents in, this question was just too silly to ignore.

Girls mature faster than boys, factually. So I would say that girls are more brainy than boys on some level. In the end I think it all comes out in the wash, equally.

They're not. Girls think differently than boys, so they answer some questions differently, so boys think they're not as smart. But girls are a lot smarter in some areas.

Also I think it has something to do with culture. We expect boys to be better at math, science, and practical things like that, so we teach them better, spend more time on them and give them more attention.

Not all are.

Anyway, girls have been told from the beginning that being beautiful is more important than being brainy. We are told that those of lesser looks will be alone and unhappy for the rest of our lives.

This eventually led to some feminist movements.

Because most of the energy of the girls appears in the form of emotions.

The total energy of an individual is constant. It includes physical, mental , intellectual and all other, if any, forms of energy.

If more energy operates in the brain than the heart, then the native will be brainy. If, on the other hand, more energy operates in the heart than the brain, then the native will be emotional.

I don't know any "briany" girls. I hate to answer a question with a question but I have to ask. How is one briany anyway? I know plenty of brainy type people and I don't think gender has anything to do with it.

Spell check is your friend, use it.

Actually, girls historically make better grades than boys and women also receive college undergraduate and graduate degrees at higher rates than men.

I guess you not knowing that information is possibly due to your inferior gender. Sorry.
