Ron Paul is most likely to get attention from the Libertarians then any other. But many of the traditional and Goldwater conservatives would also more likely to give him the attention. The chances of him getting much Democratic attention is low, because other then some of his social views, he represents an opposite view of the liberals. There are however Democrats who are tired of their party and rather have someone who shows value and principle. Which is definitely his specialty. He's never compromised, hasn't had a tiny bit of corruption, and does indeed stay with what he believes. He contradicts the old saying, "There is never an honest politician."

Legalization of drugs.
Pull out of Iraq now.
Repeal the Patriot Act.

He makes Hillary Clinton look like Barry Goldwater on many issues.

Please don't even think of such a horrible thing as Democrats switching to vote for Ron Paul. Most Republicans don't like him so why on earth would Democrats like him. He's a nut just like Kucinich is a nut. One on each side seems fair doesn't it. No, I doubt anyone with any sense is voting for Ron Paul let alone switching parties to do so.
