I would have gone with feilder though the home run contest is going the way of the slam dunk contest in baseball as the top ones don't participate anymore:
Of the 12 guys in the AL with 15 or more homeruns this season only 2 participated(Vlad is not one of those)
Of the 15 guys in the NL with 16 or more home runs this season only 3 participated.
Obvious omission of guys on the All-Start Teams were: Bonds, Griffey, and A-Rod.

I answered one of the same questions as you did a couple of days ago, also picking Guerrero. You were in a minute before me though, nonetheless, nice picks we had. Well done! We both got thumbs downs too! I was impressed with the second round, all hitters really turned it up. Anyway, for the game I'm going to say NL wins 9-5. Winning pitcher will be Sheets and (unpopular as it might be) I'll pick Bonds for MVP. Maybe he'll go 2-2 with a HR, 2 RBI and a walk.

Nobody thought Vlad, to be honest.
Final score tonight is gonna be 12-6, AL.
Winning pitcher is Haren, since the AL will jump out early and never lose the lead.
A-Rod will have a HR, Ortiz will smack one, Vlad will score a couple with a base hit, and Pudge will hit a sac fly.
Bonds won't record a hit in the game, by the way. My bet is that Holliday won't either. Reyes will have a huge night, maybe he'll steal up to 3 bases.
There won't be a save, but K-Rod will close the game out.

I picked Vlad yesterday, but considering I just joined Answers today, no one could have known that. Vlad's swing is built for hitting dingers when he just uppercuts a little. He's probably the best hitter in baseball behind Pujols. (I'm not a Cardinal fan; just like Pujols.)

I picked Vladi to win today cuz he's my boy! I hope the NL wins tomorrow. My team needs the homefield if they make the world series but God I hate that rule. Everything else..

i had money on pujols and alexis rios. i knew that Vlad would get far in the rounds but i didnt think he would win it.
