I think a lot of people do that, but to those people it doesn't necessarily mean anything, as far as having an actual desire of being with someone else. To them it is only a fantasy. When I am with my boyfriend I do fantasize that both of us are different people, living in another time. I love reading romance novels and have found myself fantasizing about those stories, and my bf always appear as the male character of the story. In general people fantasize about a lot of things but most of the time it is really just a harmless fantasy. And I believe that when it happens most people don't tend to focus their attention on this other person, it is something that comes and then goes away.

I've never been maried befor but I do know a lot of people do that I don't know if it works I never have my partner has always been enough but like I said I've never been maried but maybe instead of that bring some new things into your sex life like "toys" or somthing new and fun that you can both get into.
