Shangra-la? Umm, it never has been but you thought it would be? Well, you have Cheney claiming he is neither part of the Legislative or Executive branch, Bush claimed Executive privelege again twice yesterday(He doesn't have to disclose any documents and nobody associated with him has to testify or talk to Congress).
Why are they letting Bush & Cheney get away with a complete distortion of balance of powers and the US Constitution? Impeachment is the only way to stop a complete monarchy.

What, how long has this congress been in session?
Nothing in congress works that fast and with the president poised to veto anything cause he did not get more money for the war, it is a stale mate. Which is the reason I hate the political structure of this country. So many bitter people and parties, that progress comes to a grinding halt it's BS.

Yes, unfortunately the in-fighting brought about by a lack of a cohesive vision paralyzed the Democratic majority.
As a moderate who wished to see change as a result of the mid-term elections, Im almost as angry with the Democrats as I am with the Bush administration. What a lot of hot air! Most of them are too concerned with doing something that would upset their re-election campaigns to do anything. But that goes for both sides of the aisle.
Now I look to defecting Republican Congressmen to lead the way. Tomorrow...who knows?

Ask Bush. He's the one swinging the veto bat and the Dems don't have enough clout (yet) to override a veto. That is starting to shift, however, as more and more Reps abandon the good ship USS Bush in fear of their political lives.

Do you not believe the commander in chief when he says change takes time? OR are you just happy to spout more rhetorical crap? Seems like the latter to me.

Maybe you could discuss an issue..
Perhaps something that even one Dem. said they would fix, that they haven't.
Or is that too much work?
