im thinking on the smaller end. size 0 or smaller.

i'm not asking your stand on what you think on gauging. i just want to know if they will close up eventually.

....if you don't go too big they WILL close up.
(and even if you DO go to "the point of no return"...you CAN have them stitched up by a doctor once you want them gone... gross, i know, but whatev... if you do end up going too big, what other choice would you have anyways??)
right now, I'm at an 8g... and that's still pretty small, i think.
i want to get to a 4, probably a 2... but, perhaps a 0??
i dunno, I'll see once i get there if i want to make them bigger or not... I've been stretching mine for about 4 months and I've gone from a tiny little 18g to a 16g... a 14g... 12g... 10 ....and now like i said, I'm at an 8....
you know? ...i don't LOOK like the kind of chick who would gage my piercings at all... I'm kind of pretty-looking girly-girl, i guess... but i just think it looks so bad-a$s and hot... so screw it!! ; D ...I'm DOIN' IT!
but yea, after all that being said.... i DID look into it and researched it for a while before i started streaching... i mean, i WANT to be able to heal up and look "regular"? (<-- whatever THAT means, lol!!) once I'm sick of them...

They will eventually close up depending on what size you go to. I'm at an 8 right now. They have closed down to earring size after about a week of keeping them out of my ears. But if you go up to the larger sizes, with my friend's experiences, they don't go back after about a zero.

I'm with Emily. Don't do it! I think anyone who is thinking of having it done or has already had it done, will eventually regret doing it. Oh I'm sure there will be some kind of plastic surgery that will come along to correct the gaping hole in the lobe, but I betcha it will cost some pretty darn good bucks!
I hope your Mom decides against it.

If you gauge them enough, they won't close up. The gauges stretch your ear lobe too much. Eventually, whne you take them out, you'll just have a gigantic ear lobe.
Attractive? I think not. I'd skip this if I were you.

Depends how big you get them. If theyre huge then no they won't close up....
Actually they probably won't close up no matter the size.

They won't ever close up. You will always have the holes in your ears.
