Hello,

Recently, I have been having the lights off when I return home. I checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine.

I think there’s a ghost in the house who is either light sensitive or very forgetful.

I leave the lights on when I leave.

They’re off when I return.

Do you think the house is haunted?

Do you have a ghost in your house? If so, what does it do?

I’m awaiting suggestions, comments, and concerns.

Thank you.

Good day.

I'm a fanatic door closer. And I would close all of the doors in my home and when I woke up the next day or came home from work all of my doors and cabinets would be open. I told my mom about this and she said I should tape the doors closed. I did and they still would be open later. I strongly believe I have a ghost too. I haven't seen it nor has it bothered me other then opening every cabinet I have in the house all the time. It used to bother me and made me nervous. Now I just live with it. As long as I don't see them. I think I'm good.

Okay, so just recently my friend were at my house. There was a BIG storm outside so we lit some candles just in case if the power went out.

My friend then got into the conversation of how she could sense the presence of ghosts and when I felt it, I could feel it, too. She told me how when ghosts were next to a candle, the candle would flicker.

After a while we came to the conclusion that there were two of them. A girl and a boy. Don't ask me how we knew. It's not something that you can describe, but you just know it.

Then she described that it was possible to contact them if you do this one candle thing. When we did it, we asked 3 questions because that's how it was supposed to be done.

First we asked their name, and the girl said Jessica and the boy said Steven.
Next we asked their age, and the girl said 13 and the boy said 14.
Next, we asked when they think they died. We didn't even talk to each other, but my friend herd 1948 and I herd 1949. I don't think that it was coincidence.

We still wanted to ask how they died so we did the candle thing again, and the boy said that he drowned and when the girl tried to say something, she couldn't. She only studdered.

Later I said that before, I had sensed a preasence in my room upstairs and when I tried to go into my room, it was so strong that I ran out of the room scared for my life. I couldn't breath.

I told my friend that I could sense a really strong spirit. I was a man.

(I forgot to mention this earlier) we took a candle and lit it, then we took a needle and treaded it with black string. Then we held it in front of us. not over the candle but close to it.
If there was a spirit, it would go around in circles and if there wasn't, it would stay still.

In both of my rooms it did that.

(I'm not going to go through the rest of the long story)

In the end, We found out that there was an adult man, a 27 year old man, Jessica, and Steven... Oh, yeah. The 27 year old was Brody.

Nothing extreamly interesting happened other than that.
Nothing like lights or anything happened... I'm not sure what to tell you.

Mmm. Other signs of spirits are--ever get the feeling you're being watched when you know you're alone in the house?

The hairs on the back of your neck or arms suddenly stand on end, sending goose bumps shivering along your skin?

Have a deceased relative suddenly pop into your mind when you haven't thought about them in ages?

Have a deceased relative suddenly pop into your mind and find yourself in tears when you were sure you'd gotten over the pain of their death?

Have things disappear from a spot you're positive you set it in, only to find it a bit later in a different spot?

Hear knocks on the walls or doors? doorbell ring and nobody is there?

Most spirits just want you to know they're there. Doing that stuff is sort of a "hey, I'm around!" They won't hurt you. Just ask them nicely to stop turning the lights off. "Okay, I know you're there, could you please stop turning the lights off now? I like a light on when I come home from work late at night. Thank you." Just be nice and respectful. They're just like you and me, just don't have a body anymore. :)

And yeah, I've experienced all of the above and then some. I'm a medium, I have spirit activity a lot, a lot of which is a very beautiful experience.

PS: just read the response above mine--it is NOT a demon. A demon has a heavy feel to it, and it will do far more than just turn your lights off. Having one in your home will be like living in your worst nightmare b/c they know what you're afraid and will make it happen. It's NOT a demon. So please don't let that post frighten you. I think it's a relative, I get a female feel from it. Happen to have a penny pincher in your family die within the last 5, maybe 10 years? Cause that's the sense I get--they're turning the light off for you.

My question to you would be is this one bothering you? if it is then ask for the angel of death to take it away if not then try to get along with it that sounds like it is saving power so maybe you need to try and talk with it to stop that if you wish to maybe just try leaving the one light on get the ghost to agree with that and go from there.
so i guess it is possibly for it to be a ghost but also is there any wild like that could be getting in to your home and doing this as ghost can do this can do a lot more also

Not so sure it's a ghost but sure believe it's a Spirit. It's a Man with a long Trent's coat wearing a old time farmer's hat. He not only comes to me but my son also to his home. He throws items at my son but has never harmed me in any way. My Son nor I are concerned, he comes around EVERY CHRISTMAS. My grand-daughter See's him too and she's 10 years old. He comes to me in every home I have lived in, same with my Son. He messes with my electrical items...changes my radio station, plays with everything in my Jeep..windows, sun-roof, lights on my dashboard. He's just full of play. My home will get a strange smell for a short time. Then he will go away for a month or so. If this scares you you can lite a WHITE candle, take salt and surround your house and ask them/it to go to the light...saying your dead! I myself enjoy my visitor and am not wanting him to leave. Also have a set of twins, one boy and one girl, about the age of 5. They run away as soon as they know I see them. I could go on forever but need to let others tell stories.

It is possible. But I am of the school of thought that anything is possible, so I'm not sure how much help that is.

As for ghosts in my home. There is one that I know of for sure. He sits at the head of my bed to watch me as I sleep. He also looks in on the kids while they're sleeping to check on them. He doesn't do anything more. But it used to freak the older ones out when they were babies. I guess they're just used to him now.

I think we have another one, but we don't feel it in the traditional sense....it's more of a complete void, almost like a vaccuum feeling in the places where it is at the time. Not scary, just slightly disconcerting.

Is that the only thing you have experienced? How long has it been happening? Is it only one light or several? It's hard to say that it is a ghost without all the evidence. If it's only one light that is going off then maybe it needs rewired or maybe it's faulty wiring. Have it looked at...

when I was about 15 we would wake up in the morning and all or most of our electrical devices had been unplugged. It would happen ever other couple of days, we would wake up and the Tv and microwave and all that stuff would be unplugged. We thought for sure we had a ghost. Then we found out it was my sister, she had been sleepwalking. She is still a sleep walker but now she doesn't unplug things.

Sounds like a nice ghost to me! It SOUNDS like it's saving yuou from your own death of the electricity bill!!!

If you leave the lights on when you leave, don't you think it's maybe being curtious by turning them off for you???

Maybe if you lost a loved one they're looking out for you, or maybe it was someone who knew you in a past life and is looking out for you... It sounds like it's being nice to me!!!

As for some of mine, not so nice, they appear in a mist at night whenever yuou go out of your room.... It's pretty disturbing, but they're not all like that... SOme of them are nice to, though one turned on the read making machine when I was home alone and made me run out of the house at full speed, not going back in for another hour, when it started getting dark... My parents were panicking because I hadn't answered the phone, there for, that day, my life was complete and utter hell!!!

But I was young and now, looking back on it, I'm betting the cat did it really... :o)

There is a ghost where I work...seriously! One day when I was working with just my boss I heard a lady say 'Where are you?' I turned to my boss and said 'i'm right here!' She asked me if I just heard a lady's voice asking 'where are you.' I said I did and she said she heard it too, but it wasn't her! I had all the little hairs standing up on the back of neck.
