I go to both cities a lot and Charlotte is generally cooler.

Hello, its me again Charlotte is much colder than Atlanta, during the summer Georgia has this thing called Humidity!! Its torture, I don't know if it gets humid up there. Our summers are hot!, and the winters are mild. Since global warming Our winters are so flip-flop, it can be mild one day, then freezing cold the next, in fact we had a clod flash, and it killed alot of our crops. We also get snow every 83474922 years! When it snows here everything is shut down, no one moves when it snows. You will love it here!

I live in NC and I would say charlotte is much cooler.

According to the data below (www.noaa.gov then put in city name then get climate data) Charlotte has had 3/4's of the degree days (cost of cooling) since Jan 1 (therefore is cooler) and neither has had heating degree days.
