I don't have my own kids but I raised my two nieces and my nephew ... I still want kids but yeah they're hard. I had DEMONS not children. I don't know why it was so hard but it just seem to overwhelm you ...

i'm a single parent to my son Dayne (Day) who is 11, he's always been a good child, no problem sleeping right through night since he was 3 months old & eats anything
but as he's getting older he's getting cheekier & expensive
he's got a fantastic sense of humour (older than him in some sense) can be inappropriate, cracks me up every day
says i'm more childish than him, he keeps me young, i love it
can be tough as i no childcare but he worth it

Well let me tell you, it dosen't get easier as they get older.
Mine are 20,15,15 and 9 and still hard work. At least when they are younger, you know where they are and who they're with and what they're up to. Even though I have good kids (I think), I still worry when they go out. I trust them not to get up to "naughty" things, but you never know.

I'm happy with the way my two have turned out. They are teens now and it was rather fun teaching them all the science and space stuff. My daughter is now starting university (going into Quantum Physics) and my son will start next year (General Sciences). I'm so proud!

Totally! I waited a long time for this and was told it wasn't ever going to happen. So in some way being infertile helped me, made me more appreciative.

The older they get the more you have to try and control them, keep them on the right path, all in all worth it.
