Actually, it's quite the opposite for me. My pride prevents me from doing things that I should do and I (sometimes) regret it.

All the time. My wife and I have a tendency to argue...and I am listening to this idiot saying the stupidest things to her...but I keep it up anyway. After the fact I know that what I needed to do was suck in my pride and shut the big noisy hole under my mouth, but I just don't in the heat of the moment. We have over the years toned it down A LOT, but it still can be very bad at times.

I think my pride actually caused me NOT to do things more than it causes me to do things.

And yeah, there are a lot of things I should have done or said that I regret not doing now.

I never have any regrets, because at some point at time, the things we do we choose to do and more than likely - the things we choose to do, made us smile. So if you regret something that made you smile, rethink what makes you happy, after all you get one chance at life....

Omg totally! I hate how prideful I was when it came to my friends. I'm definitely better now though. When I was young I wouldn't like follow them because I thought I was being clingy and stuff but now I'm just normal.

Of course! My biggest problem in this regard is to ask for something. Have no problem dishing out, but ... oh boy! That pride!

Yes... though I do not regret much cos I usually 'calculate' the risks & consequences... and if I'd have to do it again, I wouldn't change anything.
