I believe that the Atlanta Hawks will win the NBA Champinship before George W. Bush is impeached and since the Hawks are not favored to win the NBA Championship anytime soon, Bush will not be impeached anytime soon and even if the Hawks win the NBA Championshp in 2008, it will be too late to impeach Bush because of the 2008 Presidential Election.

Pelosi is an empty suit. So I agree with you about her. The impeachment thing is just wishful thinking by a handful old people who are still sour over the impeachment of their boyfriend Bill Clinton.

Nancy P. or Granny or whatever she is calling herself this week is bending over for the left. President Bush has done nothing to be impeached for and if she really wants to embolden the so called Right, let her keep going down that road! I don't agree with everything this President has done, but he has had to deal with things that no other President has and for that I give him credit. I think we all need to start speaking up too, and stop letting those on the left go on slamming him without saying anything! I'm tired of all of this. Thanks

Cheating on your wife is not an impeachable offense. Lying under oath is.
I haven't seen anything on Pelosi trying to impeach Bush and thought it was off the table.
And it should, it would be such a colossal waste of time and taxpayer's money to impeach a President that has a little over a year left in office.
Maybe things would get done if there wasn't a Civil War between the fanatical right and the lunatic left where the ones in the middle are the casualties.

so bush lied about WMD's in Iraq? how about pelosi, clinton, reid, daschle, gephart, kerry, edwards, kennedy, and many other democrat leaders who said the same things BEFORE bush was elected to office? perhaps THEY also should be investigated for what they said? and their roles in the was in iraq? oh thats right we cant touch them they are democrats. if the screacher of the house pelosi tries to start impeachment proceedings on bush, it will backfire on the democrats big time, and the democrats know this. impeachment is a liberal wet dream that wont happen. dont forget that even though bush's poll numbers are low, congress's poll numbers are less than 1/2 bush's numbers.

Pelosi can't remove President Bush if she tried. (She needs to be kicked out for her conflict of interest and violation of federal laws. She is said to hire illegal aliens for her business while doing everything in her power to keep them coming into America. To find a president guilty, two thirds of the senate needs to agree. Only half of the senate is Democrat. :)

First, thank you for acknowledging that Clinton was impeached NOT because he lied under oath (the documented reason) but because he cheated on his wife. At least be honest about it, and thank you for doing so.
Second, you're a lousy consumer of news. Pelosi is NOT trying to impeach Bush - she's been challenged to do so by Cindy Sheehan, who says she will run for Pelosi's seat in 2008 if Bush is not impeached.
Third, you DID ask about impeaching Bush and what I think, so here it is....
I think you're wrong. Impeachment is for instances of "high crimes and misdemeanors" (key word is "high", which is why Clinton impeachment was ludicrous).
Bush swore to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States - and then he systematically instituted a regime of signing statements by which he claims executive prerogative to set aside 1100 (that's ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED, more than all 43 preceding presidents COMBINED) laws that he actually signed INTO law.
Further:
* He launched an uprovoked and unnecessary war against Iraq that was unconnected with matters of national security and that has decimated American diplomatic and economic standing in the world;
* He dispensed unilaterally with habeas corpus, which by itself makes him unfit for office (Lincoln's precedent notwithstanding);
* He instituted a domestic spying program predicated on his blame-Americans-first response to 9/11.
Bush deserves impeachment (though Cheney more so) in order to protect the citizenry from ever having a White House in the future that uses any of Bush's practices as precedent for bad future behaviors.
You want a free country? You'd better be prepared to fight for it, or it will be taken away from you.

The whole impeachment hubub amounts to nothing. No impeachable offense has occurred. Best evidence is that no impeachment has begun to date. Congress needs to end their witch hunt and go about legit. business.
