Most people shrink when they stop growing (the average daily height is used here because the height difference between the morning and the evening could be as high as 2 cm or almost an inch), that's around 35 years old. Don't worry, you won't shrink all that much.

It doesn't happen at any particular age. It depends on when their bones start to become brittle and become fully of tiny fractures, thereby causing them to shrink. It largely depends on genetics and how well you took care of your bones when you were younger as to when they begin to deteriorate and the level in which they do.
