If you really think you can handle 3 guys in the same house with the same name, use Jr and 3rd.
I would reccomend however that if you want a Jr and the other one to also be named after you that you make his middle name the same as your first or middle name. it will save a lot of confusion when they get to be older.

My oldest son is a "the second". Though Jr. & the second are the same, there is a difference. It's usually understood that In using Jr., that usually ends the continuence of the name.
With the 2nd, you can continue the name on with the third, fourth, etc.

Jr and II are the same. You shouldn't legally do 2nd and 3rd since those suffixes denote generations so siblings shouldn't be 2nd and 3rd.
Why not give both sons your first name as a middle name? Or have your first son be Jr. and the younger one have the name as a middle name?

Well in theory yes, you could name one of your sons Junior and name your other son The Second. But answer me honestly, would you really want to grow up in life being called "THE SECOND".The poor child would be bullied terribly and its not a name, its an ego boost for you. When naming your children forget about yourself and how you look, think about how you child will be able to grow up with this name and how his name will affect his life. Please do not name your child "THE SECOND".Plus it would make the second child feel inferior to the first, its almost like saying oh yea your just another version of him, instead your not as good.It is not a name! Remember your child is not a miniature copy of you,he/she is an individual person with there own thoughts and feelings so don't mold away there own individuality by turning them into you.

Maybe you should just name them soemthing different, clear up the confusion in the house. Or do what george foreman did and name 5 sons after himself...we all know how that turned out

Umm... wouldn't it be "Jr" and "The Third" since there's 3 of you?
I would say no. Name one after you, fine. Definitely don't name both after you. That would be way confusing when they get older since what if they get sick of being called "Jr" and "The Second"?

They are the same thing, you can only have one JR. or one second. Maybe just change the middle name on each.

And I thought my friend having 5 boys whose middle names are all James after their dad was odd. I don't think you have the option of putting the second on the birth certificate unless it is actually his name rather than a suffix.

Well, didn't George Foreman have four or five sons named George? Jr. and the second are the same thing. It should either be the second and the third, or Jr. and the third.
