one day is enough to have a quick look at Agra.

you can take Shatabdi exp from New delhi railway station at 6 in morning , By 8.15 you will be in agra.
take pre paid taxi or auto from pre paid booth of Agra police.
taxi wala will take you to Taj mahal, red fort and sikandra. In meanwhile you can have lunch and do some shoping too.

if you have one more day stay in some good hotel start your next day by moving to Fatehpur sikri.
By noon you will be back to agra
now visit Etmauddolla.
you can do more shopping from Raja ki mandi market and can have good bargain.

Sure One day is more than enough. Taj Mahal gives the impression of being a big structure whereas actually it is not.
There are other places that you can see though like Fatehpur Sikri, Agra Fort, Pearl Mosque etc

You could keep sometime for shopping too. Agra is famous for an Indian Sweet called ' Petha '.You could pick up Chess sets made of Marble and Onyx. Ornamental plates with inlaid work etc.

Agra is also famous for Leather goods.

Yes. You must make it a point to see Taj Mahal in the moon light to really enjoy the beauty of the monument.

One Day to see Taj Mahal is enough. you can see other nearest places also like Red Fort Fathepur Sikri in same one day tour of Taj Mahal if you want to know more you can visit our special one day taj mahal luxury tours.

Yes, make it a day trip from Delhi. Get a car plus driver to take you there. Spend some time walk around and maybe take a small picnic/snacks, that way you won't have to go looking for a clean/decent lunch place. We spent a day there without realizing it. I do regret not seeing it by moonlight, it's supposed to be magical. Come back by day's end and make sure you take pictures. Just be careful outside the entrance; Agra is known for its pickpockets even more so than Delhi.

Just to see once it takes about 15 minutes.

One day is more than enough. In fact it takes less than half day the other half you can use for seeing the nearby red fort.
