I think that Indian coach is better than foreign coach for the Men In Blue. Foreign coach cannot communicate with most of the indian players due to language problems. Indian coach can communicate with the players more comfortably than a foreigner. An Indian knows the culture.different languges used in India, religion whereas a foreign coach cannot do these thing. I think that Indian players feel more comfortable with an Indian coach rather than a foreign coach.

yeah, but i think the board as well as players didn't respect the local coach as they respect the foreign coach, it is my personal opinion.
Kapil Dev, is no doubt a fantastic player, and is having a great experience and knowledge of cricket tricks, tips and rules. So, there is no better choice than Kapil Dev, if indian board ( BCCI) is willing to select a local coach then their choice mightt be Kapil Dev.

No, I don't think that Indian coach- especially Kapil is a good coach not because I don't respect his contribution as a cricketer but to be a good player and to be a good coach are two different things. Kapil was tested as a coach and he failed once. There is so much internal influence in indian cricket that I think only a foreigner can maintain objectivity in promoting and utilizing players to their best.
